  1. The film itself was VERY POORLY written, from the perspective of the "art" of screenplay creation......an ABSOLUTE disaster in terms of portraying someone who was a sensitive, intelligent, funny, articulate, yet driven human being, who took his own poetry seriously enough that he would NEVER recite lines in public to people in a random context, not a consistently evil demon out to hurt everyone around him........However, the locations chosen for filming: perfect........Casting: perfect (except for the obviously fake beard they put on VK's face later in the movie.......60s atmosphere re-creation: almost perfect.

  4. I was sort of kicked off this set for masquerading as an Extra when Oliver Stone had a herd of hippie looking folks wandering from The Whisky to The Viper Room. The clubs had just closed and I wandered into the parade. I must have been dressed too modern because he spotted me and had a crew member ask me to leave.

The reason I am posting is the amusing aside that Oliver Stone was dressed like a 1967 Hippie too. I guess he's a "Method Director".
