This movie has some scenes that were obviously filmed in New York but since this is a sequel I wanted to make sure it was part Of The Page.

ReplyDeleteOne of the more impressive blogs Ive seen. Thanks so much for keeping the internet classy for a change. Youve got style, class, bravado. I mean it. Please keep it up because without the internet is definitely lacking in intelligence.
ReplyDeleteThe trashy motel where the McAllister's stay while in Florida was called Villa de Dolphiné. According to AMC's story notes, it was a real motel in Long Beach, CA that was closed at the time and torn down after filming.
ReplyDeleteThe interior for the Christmas concert was filmed at The Cove School in Winnetka. I was a student there during filming and was an extra as well. The school has since relocated to Northbrook just 15 minutes away in the summer of 1996.
ReplyDeleteIt is now The Skokie (Middle) School in Winnetka, and it still has the gold curtains and wooden auditorium seats.
DeleteHome Alone 2 was a great movie, that's' whhy kids still love it today.
ReplyDeletePlus, the toy shop Duncans Toy Chestwas amazind, and is rereal and located here: http://duncanstotoychest-1.yolasite.com
IMDB says the motel was at 3333 North Lakewood Boulevard in Long Beach, California but has since been demolished.
ReplyDelete"Filming Locations of Chicago and Los Angeles offer a unique variety of settings for any production. From the bustling city streets of Chicago to the sunny beaches of Los Angeles, these locations provide a great backdrop for any movie or TV show."
ReplyDeleteOnly 80% of Home Alone 2 were filmed in New York. And all the Miami portions of the film weren't filmed in Miami at all! They used the LAX airport as Miami International Airport and even O'Hare as LaGuardia Airport in New York. Kevin's uncle's NYC house was filmed in Universal Studios in Hollywood.
