  1. This was such an awesome thing to do I was trying to use google street views to figure it all out, this is probably my favorite action flick ever. Having been to chicago last year for the first time it sure is something to see how much nicer it has become since the filming of this movie in the late 80s! The red house from the chase scene is completly unchanged... well again thanks a lot for doc'ing these sites! Very very cool stuff, very much appreciated!

  2. Awesome. Was cruising around the west loop on Fulton and thought that I recognized some of the buildings from the stake-out / bust scene. Thanks for putting it all together.

  3. Damen L stop would be either Blue or Brown Line...Purple Line dedicated stops are only in Evanston.

    1. Thank you for the correction. I must have been color blind. I just erased the color to make it easier.

    2. Pretty sure it'd be the Brown Line. The Damen Blue Line is in the middle of The Eisenhowser.

    3. It's the blue line location in wicker park. The Walgreens is on Milwaukee.

    4. I think the Damen signs are fakes.....look at the el itself.....4 tracks in the station.....which means the station has to be either the Wellington,Diversey or Armitage stations on the Brown line

  4. Your site is unbelievable!! I'm watching "Above the Law" as I write this, as I'm from Chicago I wondered if I could find some of the film locations, Googled "Chicago locations for A.t.L." & your site comes up, just love it. Amazing work! Thx, this is so cool. I always wanted to take Rt.41 to see where the plane crashes into the gasoline tanker in "North by Northwest" found out that was done in California. Thank so much for all your work.

  7. I remember seeing film crews around Yakzies II bar on Granville (between Broadway and Winthrop). I always thought the bar scene was there. This is located near the house on Lakewood.

  8. Cool site. Was in behind the bar watching them film the restaurant scene as my girlfriend at the time was an extra in the scene. They filmed all day and until 11PM to get 5 minutes in the film

  9. The large churches in the opening scene is St. Mary of the Angels.

The grey building that Nic and Jacks drive past on the their way to 1389 Milwaukee is on the southeast corner of Damen, North, and Milwaukee. It is now a bank.

  19. The sixties and the seventies saw some very great Bollywood blood and gore films, and the vast majority of them talked with regards to resurrection, scary places and so on This class was studded with superhit movies like Gumnaam (without a name), Bees Saal Baad (Twenty Years Hence) and obviously, Madhumati.
