ReplyDeleteI believe the first scene (Porters house ) was filmed at 830 W Newport Ave. Google Streetview seems to be a spot on match.
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for the info about the house from the beginning. It looks like a match but it is also look like the house on the left is not a match so I assume it was rebuilt. The house on the right is spot on.
DeleteAfter much looking and comparing this is not the right house. Unbelievable how much is the same but it is not right. The window above the door is really round at the top and in the movie it is flat. The stone patterns are not the same too. Back to the drawing board.
DeleteThe scene in the very beginning when he is walking up the stairs out of the subway, that is the Jackson stop on the Blue Line/Dearborn subway. The camera is looking south on Dearborn between Jackson & Van Buren.
