The interiors of the courthouse (courtroom and the hallways around it in the scenes with Peter's fight for custody over Reece) was a huge standing set at the former Lindsey Studios (nowadays Valencia Studios) at 26030 Avenue Hall, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. That studio rented out sound stages and standing sets to other production companies, and WB (among many other studios) sometimes used that opportunity rather than building a set for just one episode. The courtroom set was redressed often, so it would look slightly different on all the shows that were filmed there. It still exists, but has been extensively remodeled since filming "ER".
